MDPI Open Science Insights: Academic Publishing Esstentials

Last week, our colleagues Nevena Blagojev and Milica Milošev had the pleasure of organizing an Academic Publishing Workshop at the University of L'Aquila, in collaboration with Prof. Idiano D'Adamo D’Adamo from Sapienza Università di Roma, Prof. Massimo Gastaldi, and Director Prof. Vincenzo Stornelli from the Faculty of Engineering, University of L’Aquila.
The workshop focused on open access publishing, MDPI’s editorial processes and good research integrity practices, as well as key MDPI initiatives and services we offer to the academic community. The workshop also featured insights related to the journal Sustainability MDPI, which was the supporting journal of the event.
In addition to the workshop, our team held valuable meetings with Prof. Idiano D’Adamo, Section Editor-in-Chief of the journal Sustainability, and Prof. Marco Rossi, Editor-in-Chief of JETA MDPI and Editorial Board Member of Processes MDPI, to discuss future opportunities and continued collaboration.
We are grateful for the warm welcome, inspiring discussions, and the opportunity to strengthen ties with academic partners in Italy.
